Multi-Generational Michigan Companies Come Together to Help
Globe Midwest Adjusters International, a fourth-generation public adjustment firm, and D.J. Maltese Construction Corporation, a third-generation design and build firm, are honored to come together to assist an incredible non-profit, Source of Universal Love (S.O.U.L), out of Farmington, Michigan by following its mission to help feed the food insecure over the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Food insecurity is a largely unacknowledged problem plaguing Southeast Michigan and the nation, and one that has only worsened since the start of the pandemic, especially in households with children. Feeding America, a non-profit national network of food banks, estimates that more than 54 million people will experience food insecurity in 2020 due to COVID-19, including a potential 18 million children.
“It’s hard to believe that in Michigan – despite the abundance of so much locally grown food, too many of our friends and neighbors go hungry,” said Andrew Maltese, president of D.J. Maltese Construction Corporation. Maltese continued, “Thanksgiving should be a time focused on offering gratitude, fellowship and love to fellow Michiganders.”
Globe Midwest’s SVP of Business Development Stuart Dorf, JD commented, “Globe Midwest is humbled by the selflessness of the services that S.O.U.L provides and the life-changing positive impact its clients receive. We are grateful to participate with the good folks at D.J. Maltese Construction Corporation.”
Established to serve those in need, S.O.U.L assists the homeless, the grieving and any person in need of a safe haven due to adverse situations and circumstances. S.O.U.L truly portrays Globe Midwest motto “#BetterTogether” through the genuine compassion, dedication and integrity they show to those in need.
As the Midwest’s largest and oldest public adjusting firm, Globe Midwest Adjusters International’s core focus is exclusively representing property and business owners, during the insurance claim process, to maximize and expedite our clients’ insurance claim settlement.
