Globe Midwest AI Staff Volunteers at Detroit’s Capuchin Soup Kitchen
Globe Midwest Adjusters International (Globe MWAI) recently lent its support to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen – a nonprofit organization which tends to people’s basic needs and strives to stimulate minds, nourish spirits, and address the root causes of social injustice. Representatives from the company spent Saturday, April 1, helping to prepare and serve lunch at The Capuchin Soup Kitchen which offers warm meals, clean clothes, and educational services — such as tutoring, mentoring and arts activities — to local children and adults.
As a Michigan-based public adjusting and disaster recovery firm, Globe Midwest has been actively involved with many local charities in both a volunteer and fundraising capacity but this is the first time that the company’s staff members have worked at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
“At Globe Midwest Adjusters International, we believe in supporting the community where we live and work. It was a pleasure to lend our time and a few extra sets of hands to this great organization,” said Stuart Dorf, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Globe MWAI.
Globe MWAI is the Midwest’s largest and oldest public adjustment firm. We exclusively represent home and business owners after they have suffered a flood, fire or other disaster for which they make an insurance claim. Globe MWAI works on behalf of the policyholder to ensure the insurance claim process is navigated and documented correctly.
