Senior General Adjuster

Professional Profile

Jason Martell is a highly accomplished claims professional with over 27 years of experience in the insurance industry. As a trusted advocate for policyholders at Globe Midwest™ Adjusters International, Jason leverages his extensive expertise in claims management to guide clients through the process and secure favorable outcomes.

Jason began his career in 1994 as a staff adjuster and quickly advanced to a supervisory role at Foremost Insurance Company, gaining valuable experience across Michigan, North Carolina, and Texas. In 2000, he returned to Michigan to explore the financial services sector with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where he earned Series 7, Series 66, and Series 31 securities licenses. During this time, Jason developed a deep understanding of financial analysis, honing his ability to evaluate the financial health of businesses across a wide range of industries.

Motivated by a desire to return to the field and make a tangible impact, Jason re-entered the insurance claims industry in 2004, responding to the catastrophic aftermath of Hurricane Charley in Florida. Joining E.A. Renfroe as an independent adjuster, he played a critical role in managing catastrophe claims for numerous national carriers. That unprecedented hurricane season, which also included Hurricanes Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne, solidified Jason's ability to navigate complex claims in high-pressure, large-scale disaster scenarios.

In 2005, Jason founded Martell Claims Incorporated, an independent adjusting firm based in Michigan, where he provided appraisal and adjusting services to local, regional, and national carriers for more than a decade. His entrepreneurial success underscored his ability to deliver technical precision and exceptional client service.

Since joining Globe Midwest™ Adjusters International in 2017, Jason has dedicated himself to advocating for insured clients. His wealth of experience and nuanced understanding of the industry allow him to excel in handling complex claims involving multi-family housing, office buildings, hotels, manufacturing facilities, and retail establishments. Jason's commitment to achieving optimal results for his clients has established him as a trusted authority in the field.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Insurance and Marketing from the University of Olivet (formerly Olivet College). A former Scholar All-American on the wrestling mat, Jason’s discipline and determination extend beyond academics and athletics to his professional endeavors.

He has also earned the prestigious Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations, reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and his unwavering commitment to serving clients with integrity and expertise.
